Comprised of three separate buildings with varying programmatic functions, the Forum, Bazaar, and Garage are united by their distinct architectural explorations of porosity, and consequently, their relationship with light. The prevailing perforations of each façade capitalize on the abundance of natural light for the interior spaces during the day while artificial light reveals the dynamic activity occurring in the interior spaces at night. It is ultimately this consideration and balance of both sources of light that successfully conveys the transparent and transformational nature of these buildings.
