The site lighting for this new iconic building is subtle to avoid competing with the buildings and minimize visual clutter. Pedestrian paths are illuminated by the ambient glow from the buildings with supplemental low-level lighting to create a calm, inviting environment. The facade lighting reinforces the reading of these unique buildings as a welcoming public attraction. Careful coordination was required to capture the Recital Hall's jewel-like reflection in the reflecting pool. The warmth of the wood canopies is reinforced by in-ground uplighting to draw patrons inward. A lower ambient light-level is targeted to create a subtle transition from exterior to interior. In-ground linear wall-grazers create gradient light on the vertical wall-surfaces. Handrail-integrated lighting softly illuminates the stairs and draws people upward.

The Classrooms and Practice Rooms are illuminated with linear-lensed fixtures with minimal penetration in acoustic ceilings. The Rehearsal Rooms are illuminated with low-glare fixtures mounted between the acoustic ceilings. Offices and administrative spaces located in the three primary volumes each have a unique lighting language. The library rooms are illuminated with linear-lensed fixtures. The bridges' outer perimeter walls are illuminated with a continuous perimeter fixture and recall the lighting concept from the ground floor. To provide cozy ambient lighting in the Concert and Recital Halls, all wood surfaces are softly washed with concealed continuous linear uplights. These uplights also provide soft illumination on the wood ceiling enhancing the warm luminous volumes, visible from the exterior.
