Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s

New York, NY | Stephen B. Jacobs Group | Martin Brudnizki Design Studio

The architectural lighting in the Greenwich hotel celebrates the rich materiality of the design while providing additional layers of visual interest. Within the upscale Fouquet’s restaurant, crystal chandeliers provide a soft, intimate glow, and are complimented by discreet recessed lights and custom task lighting. Discreet architectural coves in the ceiling and millwork articulate the vibrant finishes of the bar and lounge area, along with layers of task lamps and decorative sconces. Public areas such as restrooms and elevator lobbies are enhanced by the diffuse, warm light of elegant venetian crystal chandeliers and wall sconces, thoughtfully curated to provide an intimate and upscale residential atmosphere.
