Ms. DeVries joined Tillotson Design in 2007 immediately upon graduating from Parsons: The New School for Design with an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design. Her prior experience includes work as an apprentice electrician and designing for estate-sized residential projects with a lighting firm in Michigan. She has also worked as a freelance lighting designer for Tanteri + Associates, where she gained valuable design experience with daylighting. Ms. Devries has had renderings and graphic illustrations published in several professional magazines including Architectural Lighting [A/L] and Lighting Design + Application (LD+A).

Ms. DeVries received a BFA in Interior Design from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was awarded the IALD Educational Trust scholarship while studying at Parsons.

Ms. DeVries' recently completed TDA projects include: the Public Hotel in Chicago, IL with Ian Schrager; the White Street Residence in NYC; the Gluskin Sheff Offices in Toronto, Canada; and the Queen's Museum of Textiles in Bangkok, Thailand. Her current work includes the Broad Museum in Los Angeles, CA; the 157 West 57th Street Hotel and Residential Tower in NYC; and the East River Waterfront in NYC.
